First things first, The Frighteners hit our screens in 1996, right? So, let's time-travel back to that year. Michael J. Fox, our beloved star, was born on June 9, 1961. Can you believe it? He's a year older than my mom!

Now, let's do some math. In 1996, Michael was... hold on to your hats... 35 years old! Yes, you heard it right. The man who played the iconic Marty McFly was already a grown-up when he took on the role of Frank Bannister in The Frighteners.

But wait, you might be thinking, "He doesn't look 35!" Well, my friend, that's the magic of Hollywood. Plus, Michael's always had this youthful charm about him. I mean, have you seen Back to the Future? He was 25 playing a high schooler!

Now, you might be wondering, why does this matter? Well, it doesn't, really. It's just fun to know these little tidbits, isn't it? Plus, it's a great conversation starter at parties. "Did you know Michael J. Fox was 35 in The Frighteners?" Boom! You're the life of the party.

Anyway, back to the movie. The Frighteners is a gem, isn't it? It's got that perfect blend of comedy and horror. And Michael, well, he's just brilliant in it. He pulls off that whole "charismatic con man with a heart of gold" thing like a pro.
