How Many Episodes Is Season 4 Stranger Things

So, you've binged your way through Stranger Things seasons one, two, and three, and now you're craving more of Hawkins' eerie charm like Eleven craves Eggos. You're probably wondering, "How many episodes is Season 4 going to be, so I can clear my calendar and stock up on pizza?" Well, buckle up, my friend, because we're about to dive into the Upside Down of episode counts.

Let's Talk Numbers, Baby

The Duffer Brothers, those masterminds behind Stranger Things, have been pretty hush-hush about Season 4's episode count. But don't worry, we're not going to leave you hanging like poor Will Byers in the Upside Down. After some digging (and by digging, I mean scrolling through Reddit), we've found some tantalizing tidbits.

Here's what we know so far: Season 3 had eight episodes, which felt like a solid number, not too many, not too few. It was just right, like Goldilocks' porridge. But here's where things get interesting. Some sources are whispering that Season 4 could have more episodes than Season 3. Yes, you heard it here first. More episodes than a Demogorgon has tentacles!

But Wait, There's More!

Now, you might be thinking, "More episodes? That's great! But how many more are we talking? Two? Three? Ten?" Well, hold onto your Eggo waffles, because the number floating around is... nine. Yes, you read that right. Nine episodes. That's one more than Season 3, which means more time in Hawkins, more time with our favorite misfits, and more time to figure out what the heck is going on with that big, bad, scary thing in the Upside Down.

But here's the thing, folks. The Duffer Brothers haven't confirmed this number yet. They're playing it as close to the chest as Joyce Byers hides her wine. So, until we get an official announcement, we're all just speculating like Hopper trying to figure out how to fix his relationship with Eleven.

Why the Wait, You Ask?

You might be wondering why it's taking so long for Season 4 to grace our screens. Well, it's not like the Duffer Brothers are sitting around eating ice cream and binge-watching Netflix (well, maybe a little). They've got a lot on their plates. Remember, they're not just writing the show; they're also directing some episodes and executive producing. It's a lot, even for someone with Eleven's powers.

Plus, they've got a whole new set of challenges to face. Season 4 is reportedly going to be even bigger and badder than before. We're talking new locations, new characters, and new threats. It's like they're building a whole new Hawkins National Laboratory, but with more monsters and fewer scientists.

So, When's the Premiere, Already?

Alright, alright, you're probably dying to know when you can finally sink your teeth into Season 4. Well, here's what we know: Netflix has confirmed that Season 4 will be split into two volumes. Volume 1 is set to premiere on May 27, 2022. That's right, mark your calendars, folks. But here's the kicker - Volume 2 doesn't have a release date yet. It's like they're teasing us with a taste of Eleven's waffles, but won't give us the whole plate.

Now, you might be thinking, "But what about the episode count? You said Season 4 could have nine episodes, but that's only four in Volume 1. Where are the other five?" Well, my friend, that's where the mystery comes in. Netflix is being as tight-lipped as a Demogorgon about the episode count for Volume 2. But don't worry, we'll keep our ears to the ground and our eyes on the Upside Down for any new information.

Until Then...

So, there you have it, folks. We've given you the lowdown on Stranger Things Season 4's episode count. Now, you've got a date with Hawkins, and you know how many episodes to expect (well, sort of). Until then, why not rewatch the first three seasons? Or maybe dive into some of the show's inspirations, like Stephen King's books or '80s movies. Just remember, no matter what you do, don't go looking for the Upside Down in your own backyard. Trust me, you don't want to find it.
