How Old Are The Actors In Stranger Things Season 1

Hey there, Stranger Things fans! Ever wondered how old the actors were when they first stepped into the Upside Down? Let's dive in and find out, yeah?

Meet the Gang

So, we've got our main crew: Eleven, Mike, Dustin, Lucas, Will, and Joyce. Let's start with the youngest, shall we?

Eleven: The Mystery Girl

Millie Bobby Brown, our badass Eleven, was just 12 years old when she first graced our screens in Season 1. Can you believe it? She was basically a baby, and yet she totally owned that role. Talk about talent!

Mike, Dustin, and Lucas: The Boy Squad

Finn Wolfhard (Mike) was 13, Gaten Matarazzo (Dustin) was 14, and Caleb McLaughlin (Lucas) was also 14 when they first joined the party. These guys were just kids, navigating the Upside Down and fighting Demogorgons. It's like they were playing a real-life video game, but way cooler!

Will: The Boy Next Door

Noah Schnapp, who plays Will, was just 12 when he started the series. He was the sweet, innocent kid who got snatched by the Mind Flayer. Poor guy, but he totally nailed the role!

Joyce: The Mom We All Need

Winona Ryder, our fearless Joyce, was 44 when she started the series. She was basically old enough to be the mom of some of the other actors. But hey, age is just a number, right? She totally rocked that mom role!

So, Why Does It Matter?

Well, it's just fascinating to see how these young actors took on these intense roles and totally nailed them. It's like they were all born to play these characters. Plus, it's cool to see how much they've grown since Season 1. It's like watching our own kids grow up, but way cooler because, you know, Stranger Things!

It's also interesting to think about how their ages influenced the storylines. Like, Eleven was just a kid trying to figure out her powers, and the boys were just kids trying to save their friend. It adds a whole new layer to the show, you know?

Fun Fact: Age Gaps

Did you know that the age gap between the youngest and oldest main actors is 32 years? That's like, what, three generations? It's crazy to think about, right?

Anyway, that's our little trip down memory lane. It's amazing to see how these actors have grown and evolved since Season 1. It just goes to show that age is just a number, and talent knows no bounds. So, here's to the cast of Stranger Things, the young guns who took the world by storm!
