From Broadway to Hawkins

Before he was stealing our hearts as Dustin, Gaten was making waves on Broadway. That's right, this kid's got some serious stage experience. He played Benjamin in "Priscilla, Queen of the Desert" and even got nominated for a Tony Award for his role in "Les Misérables". Not too shabby, huh?

But then, along came Stranger Things. The Duffer Brothers, the show's creators, were looking for a kid who could balance comedy, drama, and that perfect mix of nerdiness and charm. And boom! Gaten walked in, and the rest is history.

But Gaten's not just about the laughs. He's also an advocate for people with cleidocranial dysplasia, a condition that affects the growth of bones and teeth. He was diagnosed at birth, and he's using his platform to raise awareness and inspire others. How cool is that?
