How Old Is Simon From Iron Lung

Age is Just a Number, Right? Let's Chat About Simon from Iron Lung

Ever wondered about the age of Simon from Iron Lung? You're not alone. This iconic character from the 1993 movie "The Crow" has sparked curiosity among fans for decades. But before we dive into Simon's age, let's set the scene. If you haven't seen "The Crow," it's a cult classic, a dark, gritty tale of revenge set in a dystopian future. Think "Blade Runner" meets "The Karate Kid" (yeah, we just made that comparison – deal with it).

Now, back to Simon. He's the enigmatic, supernatural hero played by the late, great Brandon Lee. But how old is he supposed to be? Well, it's a bit tricky. See, Simon isn't exactly... alive. He's a spirit, a ghost, if you will. He was murdered, came back to life, and now he's out for revenge. So, age doesn't really apply in the traditional sense. But let's play along.

So, How Old is Simon?

In the movie's timeline, Simon was 22 when he was murdered. But remember, that was just his human age. After he comes back, he's ageless. He's stuck in a perpetual state of 22, looking like a young, brooding badass. It's like he's frozen in time, a la "The Notebook" (minus the old age makeup).

But here's where it gets interesting. The movie is set in a future – 2072, to be exact. So, if we're talking about Simon's spirit age in the movie's universe, he's... drumroll please... 115 years old. That's right, folks. Simon from Iron Lung is a centenarian. Who would've thought?

Fun Facts and Practical Tips

Now, you might be thinking, "How does this apply to my life?" Well, let's break it down. Firstly, age is just a number. Simon is 'old' but he's kicking ass and taking names. So, next time you feel like you're past your prime, remember Simon. He's 115 and still got it.

Secondly, let's talk about the movie's dystopian future. It's a grim reminder that our actions today shape tomorrow. So, be kind, recycle, and don't litter. Let's not make 2072 a real-life "The Crow" scenario.

And lastly, if you're a fan of "The Crow," you might want to check out the original comic series by James O'Barr. It's dark, it's gritty, and it's a must-read for fans. Plus, it's a great way to dive deeper into Simon's backstory. Just remember, it's a bit of a heavy read. It's not your average "Archie" comic.
