How Old Is Freya In God Of War Ragnarok

So, How Old is Freya in God of War Ragnarok?

Alright, let's dive into the Norse mythology pool and chat about Freya, the goddess who's causing quite a stir in the upcoming God of War Ragnarok. Now, you might be wondering, "How old is this powerful lady?" Well, buckle up, 'cause we're about to find out!

Let's Talk Age, Norse Style

First things first, Freya isn't your average mortal. She's an Aesir, one of the major gods in Norse mythology. These guys are pretty much immortal, so they don't age like we do. But that doesn't mean they're not ancient. They've been around since the dawn of time, or at least, since the creation of the Nine Realms.

So, when we talk about Freya's age, we're not talking about years. We're talking about eons. It's like trying to count the stars in the galaxy. It's mind-boggling, right?

Freya's Backstory: A Brief History

Freya's been through a lot. She's the daughter of Njord, the god of the sea, and sister to Frey, the god of fertility. She's also the goddess of love, beauty, and war. Talk about a multitasker! She's been around for so long that she's seen the rise and fall of civilizations. She's even had a hand in some of them.

But here's the thing: even though she's ancient, she's not all-knowing. She's made mistakes, had regrets. It's what makes her so interesting. She's not just a powerful goddess; she's a character with depth. And that's what makes her so fascinating in God of War Ragnarok.

Freya in God of War Ragnarok

In the upcoming game, Freya's playing a big role. She's got a bone to pick with Kratos and Atreus, and she's not afraid to show it. But why? Well, that's part of the mystery. We know she's got a history with the Leviathan Axe, and she's not happy about how things went down in God of War (2018).

But here's the thing: even though she's ancient and powerful, she's not invincible. She's got her own struggles, her own pain. And that's what makes her such a compelling character. She's not just a boss to beat; she's a character to understand.

So, How Old is She Again?

Well, we don't know the exact number of years (or eons) Freya has under her belt. But we do know she's ancient. She's seen civilizations rise and fall. She's loved, she's lost, she's fought. She's a goddess with a past, and that's what makes her so interesting.

And isn't that what makes a character great? Not their age, but their story. So, whether she's 100,000 years old or a million, Freya's age is just a number. It's her story that counts. And that's what we're all here for, right?
